---Trying to Decide Which Window Is Right For You?---

---We're Here to Help---

  • The first step in buying your new window(s) is to decide between an aluminum window and a vinyl window. To take the guess work out, we're here to inform you and help you make an educated decision.

  • Aluminum
    • If your main concern is to buy an affordable and durable window then you should lean more towards purchasing an aluminum window. Because of its properties as a sturdy and lightweight metal, aluminum has a strong resistancy against rust and corrosion increasing the overall longevity of windows. Also, aluminum has a good insulation factor and effectively works to keep excessive heat and cold air out. Lastly, aluminum windows can be purchased with a thermal break frame technology which adds an even better insulation factor to this affordable window.

  • Vinyl
    • While they are a little more expensive, vinyl windows provide for tremendous insulation and require virtually no effort to maintain. Vinyl windows are made out of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) which has an outstanding insulation rating, keeping the heat out in warm climates and the cold out in the colder ones. Because of their insulation capabilities, vinyl windows become extremely cost effective in the long run because they reduce heating and cooling bills. In addition to insulation, vinyl windows are already stained, finished and sealed so there is no up front work required. Moreoever, to keep the effort to a minumum, vinyl windows are resistant to dents, scratches, mold, stains and UV rays so on going care is not necessary.
